The ACS (Primary) Parent Support Group was formed in 2005 to help facilitate, assist and enhance the school’s function in the education process. The PSG is wholly organised and managed by volunteer parents contributing their time, effort and expertise in a variety of functions.
The PSG is made up of 10 sub-committees, each headed by a parent volunteer together with a team of parents, that covers not only the different facets of a student’s life while at ACS (Primary), but also those that help them cultivate social and spiritual consciousness beyond school books. The sub-committees include Pastoral Care & Christian Emphasis (PCCE), CCA Support, Events/Class Support, Curriculum Support, Fund Raising Projects & Merchandise Sales, Information & Communications, Library, Community Outreach, Learning Support and Family Adventure programs and the MCYS Family Matters@School initiatives. More information regarding each sub-committee and their activities is available on this site, through the sub menu on the right.
Through the years, we’ve discovered that parents’ involvement with the school has been beneficial to students’ experiences at school. We welcome voluntarism from parents in any way and form, and hope to hear from you on how you can be a part of your son’s life at ACS (Primary).
